The new Range Rover Sport SVR Prototype (above) is heading for Goodwood
What were Land Rover to call the new, powerful, range-topping Range Rover Sport from the new Special Operations division, we wondered. Well, wonder no more – it’s the Range Rover Sport SVR. The Range Rover Sport SVR has been revealed – in prototype form and still sporting camouflage – ahead of an appearance at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed where it will flaunt its ‘work in progress’ prowess up the Goodwood hillclimb.
BMW has released new images and a lengthy press release detailing the design process for the new 7 Series sedan, set to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October. We'll spare you the hyperbole here, but stay tuned for a Design Review of the Munich-based automaker's new range topping vehicle once we've seen the car in the metal in Paris. The deadline for entries to the Interior Motives Design Awards is Friday 12th April. You have just three more days to have your work evaluated by some of the most influential figures in the automotive design industry, including Volkswagen's Romulus Rost and Wolfgang-Müller-Pietralla, and Amko Leenarts and David Woodhouse of Ford. Should your project reach the final round of judging, it will be displayed at a glamorous awards ceremony in Frankfurt on 9th September, the eve of the first Frankfurt Motor Show press day.
